Myself and the members of the trust have received so much positive feedback from the community near and far, and it has made negotiation of the above road safer much more enjoyable.

Praise for workers

The construction works at the Ohaupo/Lorne/Kahikatea intersection in Hamilton have kept me spellbound and praising daily the workers of all trades - the excavators, the drain and block layers, the plasterers, the electricians, the manual spade and mechanical workers, the truck drivers, the rollers, and many more - as I observe, the way these men of all ages, including many senior of retirement age, of all ethnic backgrounds, work diligently non-stop in all weather conditions and many a time through the night.

How is it that there is little mention of such incredible planning? Of such a demonstration of what New Zealand workers are all about?

The planners, the co-ordinators, the workers, are world-class and worthy of praise. So thank you men - you are doing, a great job.
