Graduate Site Engineer / Surveyor
Cambridge Construction Company is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer / Surveyor to join our Roading & Sub-division Construction Team.
Based in the Waikato, the hours of work are 7am to 5pm daily with weekend work and overtime as required.
Reporting to the Project & General Manager, your main responsibility will be the daily reporting for quality assurance, surveying and assisting with daily plant and labour requirements.
- Construction set out- from design drawings using GPS & Robotic total station equipment
- Setup 3D machine control for construction machinery
- Operate AutoCAD & 12D model software program
- Supervising Staff and Subcontractors as required
- Assist in the collection of Quality Assurance Records
- Providing technical advice & problem solving
- Liaising with Consultant Engineers & Clients
- Undertaking as built drawings
- Actively participate in daily site toolbox H & S meetings
- Actively participate in annual operator competency training & assessments
The successful applicant will have:
- Suitable Qualifications or experience to fill the role
- Proficient in AutoCAD & 12D programme
- Experience using Leica Survey Equipment
- Practical analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage others
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety
